Course Summary
On this course you'll learn the basics of two colour mosaic crochet - also known as overlay crochet. We'll be covering all the key stitches and techniques for working a flat piece of fabric by making a coaster or place mat. We'll also cover how to deal with the ends, whether that's making tassels or a firinge or using the envelope method to conceal the ends, Once you've grasped the basics you'll then learn how to create your own design for a cushion cover or table runner. Alternatively, I will also have a pattern available in case you're not in the mood for design!
Merrian Holland
Merrian is a full-time crochet teacher and designer with a background in jewellery design and e-commerce. She has a particular love of making and designing motif-based garments with natural fibres and hand dyed yarns. Merrian encourages her students to be adventurous with their crochet to create unique items they can be proud of.
